njenix (“njenix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through njenix.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you acknowledge and consent to the practices described here.
njenix is a consultancy for nonprofit organizations. Our Site is primarily informational and includes a contact form — we do not sell products, process payments, or require you to create an account through this Site.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you contact us through the Site’s form or by email, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect limited technical and usage data, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs. This is used in aggregate to understand and improve the Site.
How we use your information
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your request.
- Provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Site and our services.
- Send communications you have requested, such as replies or follow-ups.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Site and prevent misuse or fraud.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
- Perform aggregate, statistical analysis of usage that does not identify you personally.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the Site is used and to improve your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function as intended. We may use third-party analytics providers who process usage data on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who perform functions on our behalf — such as website hosting, email delivery, and analytics — and who are permitted to use it only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer as described below.
Third-party websites
The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party you visit.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to respond to and follow up on your inquiry — or as required to comply with our legal obligations.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have provided to us by emailing contact@njenix.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of that information, to request correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at contact@njenix.com.
Other U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of certain other states — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and a growing number of others — have similar rights under their state privacy laws, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any rights available to you, contact us at contact@njenix.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults (18 and older) and is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Where your information is processed
njenix is based in the United States, and our servers and service providers are located in the U.S. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
Business transfers
If njenix is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
